Apart from the fishing you might be lucky to see Dolphins swimming along with the boat, Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Turtles mating!, Humpback Whales (the largest mammal and living thing on the earth - 40/50 tons), Pelicans and who knows what else. The sea is full of surprises.

We are pleased to offer you our 10m Bertram Sportfisher ‘Shuwari’ (which means ‘calm’ in Kiswahili) for Sportfishing excursions.

Our crew have a combined experience of over 30 years, and have experience fishing all long the Kenya coast from Lamu in the North to Shimoni in the Pemba Channel to the extreme South.  They also have extensive experience fishing in the water off Tanzania and Zanzibar.

We pride ourselves in having a team that is passionate about sustainable sportfishing and engages actively in conservation both on  the water and onshore.  Our policy is to tag and release all billfish, and other designated endangered species such as Giant Trevally.

Shuwari is equipped with Penn, Biscayne and Shimano rods, attached to Shimano Tiagra, TLD , Penn International, and Alutecnos reels. We offer from 3kg to 54kg line strength, and have a wide variety of lures to suit all types of fishing including daytime broadbill fishing, bottom fishing, casting, live baiting and regular trolling.
